Ideal ECE - Early Learning Consultation & Training
Early/Head Start

At Ideal ECE, we provide professional development, consulting, and coaching services for a vast amount of early educators and administrators around the country, but none more than those working in Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Check out our listing in the National Head Start Association (NHSA) Professional Development Consultants Directory!

Technical Assistance & Coaching Services
Assessing Early/Head Start programs using tools, such as The Pyramid Infant Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS), the Program Administration Scale (PAS), the Infant and Toddler Environment Rating Scale—Revised Edition (ITERS-R), and Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale—Revised Edition (ECERS-R), we provide on-site technical assistance (TA) and practice-based coaching services - nationally.

We provide a "Program Data Report" for each of the sites visited during consulting/TA and an "Executive Data Report" for the designated administrator(s) at the contracted agency. Our data reports provide strategies and clarification for coaching provided during consulting visits, including recommendations and resources to support program efforts toward quality improvement. Any completed assessments (TPITIOS, ITERS, ECERS, PAS...) are sent directly to the program and/or agency designee for review and follow-up.

Pre-service & Customized Professional Development
Our workshops incorporate content and resources from Office of Head Start National Centers, in an effort to ensure clients are receiving the latest and most appropriate information. Each session is goal-centered, relevancy oriented, hands-on, and engaging, based on principles of adult learning. All trainers have earned at least a Master's degree, completed train-the-trainer courses, and worked extensively with Early/Head Start programs.
